Located on the southern point of Motu Piti Aau, a six mile long islet along the coral reef is the distinctive Le Meridien. Accessible only by boat and offering unsurpassed views to Mount Otemanu the hotel blends French chic with Tahitian design. The resort is 20 minutes by private launch from the airport and 5 minutes by boat from the main island. The shuttle boat to the main island is free to hotel guests and runs throughout the day each hour. Unique is the private interior lagoon and turtle sanctuary with more than 100 different species of fish, coral and shells.
